Service Description

I have extensive experience and history working with various ages from children, teens, adults and families in a variety of contexts. In my counseling work with children I also work with the parents and caregivers as a team. I offer in-person sessions and tele-therapy.  I have received the highest level of credentialing as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and have received my Bachelors in Psychology from Governors State University, and a Master’s of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wheaton College.  Alongside using client centered theory, I work by looking through the lens of attachment and trauma while considering the many parts that make up an individual. Some of the research-based techniques I use (but not limited to) are: CBT, attachment-based therapy, Internal family systems, DBT, mindfulness, meditation techniques, play therapy, sandtray therapy, and I help with ADHD and executive functioning skills.
